Tutorial 1

1

Transfer

Place a piece of Heat Transfer film over your name tag. Heat transfer film can be reused for multiple labels. Rub gently and then lift the tape, his will hold your name tag in place.

2

Application

Place your name tag on your garment and press down firmly. Please place this on a flat area that doesn’t stretch. E.g. avoid the cuffs or waist band if elasticated.

3

Heat

Check your iron’s heat range. Turn off the steam function and adjust the temperature to a setting that is between 160 and 200 degrees.

4

Temperature

If your iron does not reach 160 degrees the label will not adhere to the fabric. If you set the iron too hot this may melt the label. Please check your settings and temperatures carefully.

5

Application

Place a sheet of greaseproof paper over the top of the area. Iron firmly in bursts of 5 seconds, checking the label after each turn.

6

Application

Once fully adhered slowly remove the transfer tape. Place the silicone paper back over the decal and iron again for 5 seconds. Please wait 24 hours before washing your garment.
